Media Library Benefits
One-place management
Since your media (images, videos, etc) are allocated in only one place, any changes made to the media will be applied to all posts that have the media added to it.
For example, if you have an image that needs to have its caption updated. Once this is done by the Library, you can just hit the Update button on your post and the image caption will be renewed with the one added via the Library.
Asset Reusability
Assets added to the media library can be just copied and added to other posts without needing to upload the image again.
Search and Filters
On the Library, you can easily filter and search for your images. These are the formats we allow for search:
- Full Caption on Library
- Partial Caption on Library
- Full alt text on Library
- Initially uploaded filename without ‘.jpg’
- Partial credit name
- Full credit name
Easy Article Creation with Media
Once added to the Library, if the asset has a caption assigned to it, by clicking on “Post” option in the asset, it will automatically create a new draft with the asset as the lead media.
