RebelMouse Talk to Us
RebelMouse’s Technical SEO Influencer Program

If you’re a search engine optimization (SEO) expert, we know you can do a stellar job of juggling a lot of tasks. That’s because there’s no magic key to unlocking a winning search strategy. High performance on search requires a deep understanding of how Google indexes and ranks content, as well as the flexibility to adapt to its frequent changes.

Today, SEO professionals aren’t just amazing content marketers. They double as savants when it comes to the technical aspects of SEO, which is often a piece of the puzzle that gets overlooked. If you are an SEO consultant, you know how frustrating it can be to make important suggestions to clients that never get implemented, and often, it’s the same problems over and over.

That’s why RebelMouse has decided to launch a Technical SEO Influencer Program to help SEO experts get access to the right technology that better showcases their talents. We know that you can do more for your clients on the right platform, and that’s where RebelMouse comes in.

What Is RebelMouse?

RebelMouse is a content management system (CMS) and creative agency that drives better traffic, conversion, and revenue for publishers and brands through amazing website performance. Our platform was built by the former CTO of HuffPost, who was a pioneer in understanding search traffic. We understand that quality content isn’t enough to succeed anymore, because it also takes smart strategies to generate meaningful traffic.

RebelMouse technology includes a rich SEO toolset that guides content creators to think about the right search phrase behind every story. It also empowers users to focus on small but meaningful modifications designed to improve organic search performance.

Since our platform was created in the age of search, we’ve developed a publishing experience that’s not bound by plugins that need to be constantly updated and often conflict with each other. Our site network is self-updating, which means that all of our game-changing SEO features come out of the box with no add-ons required.

Additionally, our platform outperforms the competition on Google’s Core Web Vitals, the new standard that plays a critical role in determining your site’s reach, and delivers an intuitive publishing environment that enables writers, developers, and everyone in between to flourish.

What’s the RebelMouse Technical SEO Influencer Program?

As a master of SEO, you’re already well-versed on the many modifications that need to be made — from both a content and a technical perspective — to exceed at search. Instead of tacking SEO onto your content strategy, our platform allows it to naturally become part of the publishing workflow.

As a RebelMouse Technical SEO Influencer, you will receive:

  • Access to a RebelMouse sandbox environment
  • A free deep dive into how to use RebelMouse
  • Access to our referral program that pays you for successful referrals

Site Structure

Making sure your site has dynamic taxonomy can improve core KPIs and propel a successful SEO strategy. RebelMouse’s intuitive tagging and section functionalities help make content organization a breeze. Both of these features develop your site's taxonomy so that every topic is easy to search for, locate, and explore. Click here to learn more.

Structured Data

Every RebelMouse site automatically populates key structured data so that Google can better understand your site. This, in turn, optimizes your pages to win in search results. Our out-of-the-box integration populates all of the standard schema data with information about article content. This works on desktop and mobile web, and the data also gets populated for Google AMP. Structured Data for Reviews and Ratings

Ratings and reviews for product pages are also populated with structured data. When inputted correctly, it can be a powerful way to provide more information to Google about your product pages, which improves your search ranking in return. Click here to learn how we make this easy.

Google’s Best Practices for Images

Being certain that everything on your site is optimized both for performance and for following Google Search's guidelines is an exhausting task. Fortunately, RebelMouse takes that worry out of your hands by building our platform around the principles of page experience and the belief that all sites built on our platform should be flawless. We follow all of the best practices for Google Image's guidelines.

Alt Text on Every Image

Alt text is very important for accessibility, and can also have benefits for SEO. Briefly, alt text (or alternative text) is text that is added to an image to describe it to search engines. It also allows people using screen readers to be able to know what the image is without actually being able to see it. You can easily add alt text to any image in RebelMouse from our Entry Editor. Adding your search phase into every alt text field helps bring you one step closer to the top of Google Search's first page. Click here to learn more.

Sitemaps

A sitemap is a file where you list the webpages of your site that tells Google and other search engines about the organization of your site's content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file so that your site gets crawled intelligently. If your site's pages are properly linked, Google's web crawlers can usually discover most of your site, which means better indexing and performance on search. Click here to learn more.

Google Search Console Integration and Support

We offer full support to help our clients connect their sites to Google Search Console. Our strategy services also help you understand which content and site layouts are working the best for your audience through our custom Google Data Studio dashboards.

404/Redirect Dashboard

The open web is full of lost opportunities. Something as small as a typo can cause a 404 error on your site. RebelMouse gives you seamless power and control over errors in our easy-to-use 404 Dashboard. Learn more.

Particle Assembler

RebelMouse's Particle Assembler is a content creation tool within our Entry Editor that makes it easy to transform your posts into micro pieces of media-rich content, which we call particles, that can both be shared individually and crawled separately for search. Assembler is a helpful SEO tool because it can generate a unique URL slug for each particle, maximizing your article's ability to get indexed by Google for more than one key search phrase.

H1 Tags

For SEO purposes, H1 tags are designed to win a specific search phrase for your page. In fact, a recent study from Moz found that the HTML title tag is the second-most important ranking factor for SEO, behind only the actual content of the post. Click here to learn how we automatically optimize content for the right H1 tag.

Canonical URLs

A canonical URL is an HTML element that prevents duplicate content. This helps prevent SEO issues by indicating whether a URL is a "canonical" or "preferred" version of a page.

You can set canonical URLs directly from our editing interface. Learn more.
