RebelMouse Talk to Us
The Chief Product Officer's Guide to RebelMouse

RebelMouse is made up of designers, creators, developers, and analytics experts with an important and primary focus: Product. We are product people. It's why we're proud of what we deliver to product thinkers and fellow creatives on our platform.

Native Multivariate Testing

RebelMouse natively supports server-side rendering of multivariate layouts. Layout changes are easy to make, test, and implement, and it's even easier to determine the performance KPIs that matter to your bottom line. Optimizely, Google Chrome Experiments, and other testing outlets add page speed overhead by rewriting layouts in JavaScript that only work after a page has rendered, which often disrupts the user experience. We built RebelMouse from the ground up around doing this right.

On-the-Fly Sandboxes

Creating a copy of any layout, or even of an entire site, and then making changes to that environment is simple on RebelMouse. We unlock layouts using query parameters so you can test layouts against production data in safe ways. No longer do you need to rely on DevOps to maintain old sandbox environments. On our platform, creating a sandbox is a simple process of point, click, and go.

Powerful, Intuitive Design Tools

We're proud that our platform enables and fosters creativity. Most websites fail to grow because they're unable to keep up with the pace of ideas that naturally occur and end up with a massive backlog for simple changes. Features like newsletter promos, the cadence of promos, custom promos, content structure, custom layouts, and infinite scroll implementation are intuitive to creators, curators, and editors alike on our platform. Our Layout & Design tool makes the customization and styling of these features easy for a product person to implement. Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript gives you even more power to create whatever comes to mind. We empower you to safely iterate and then measure changes against data.

You can expand these tools to create layouts that spark engagement right out of the box. Our platform makes it easy to deliver an experience that delights and creates love. In the spring of 2020, Google let the world know that its Core Web Vitals would become the new benchmark for measuring a site's performance in its search results, known as the page experience update. Fast forward to more than a year later in August 2021 when, after much anticipation, Google's page experience update became official.

Since its rollout, developers have felt the impact of how their publishing platforms stack up against the new standard. Important decisions around the architecture of your site can now make or break your site's performance in the eyes of Google.

HTTP Archive, a tracking platform that crawls the web to identify trends and record historical patterns, has revealed how top content management systems (CMS) have weathered the page experience update through the creation of its Core Web Vitals Technology Report. RebelMouse consistently outperforms major CMS platforms on Google's most critical metrics since its rollout and into 2022:
