United Hurricane Relief Campaign

Background

United Airlines has worked with their customers, employees, and MileagePlus members to launch a CrowdRise fundraising campaign which has already raised a total of more than $2.8 million to support their humanitarian aid and disaster relief partners: Airlink, the American Red Cross, Americares, Operation USA, the Greater Houston Community Foundation, and the Humane Society International. United has also partnered with Chase card services to provide additional bonus miles to members who donate to those organizations, and has agreed to match the $300,000 in relief already raised for both Hurricane Harvey and Irma. So far, United has committed over seven million bonus miles to their customers who have made donations.

RebelMouse powers United's content hub. Together, we were able to quickly make changes and integrations that highlighted and amplified United's efforts. Our creative agency was able to do the design and coding, as well as work with the (fabulous) CrowdRise team to bring the integration together in a matter of hours.

RebelMouse also worked to create a mobile and accessibility compliant data view of the impact on flights from the hurricanes.


Integration Work

The integration was done to highlight the campaign on the front page and build a beautiful landing page for the efforts, including a module that featured the work across the site.

Our design team worked with the engineering team once we understood the data and API options for CrowdRise. We were then able to turn over the idea from design to live in no time at all.
