Key Elements of a Brand Hub

The Content Marketing Stack of the Future, Today

Having a simple, gorgeous user experience that highlights the brand is an easy mission to define and a hard one to accomplish. RebelMouse is unparalleled at creating mass consumer experiences that foster deep engagement and loyalty. All our design theories and approaches are tested and backed by massive amounts of data. Sites on our platform can get as many as 26 pages per visit, and on average get five pages per visit. Our approach is to take the UX of social media that the world has become so accustomed to, and then adapting it to fit your owned property. It's fast, clean, beautiful, and it works.

Bring Together All Your Enterprise Content — Social/Blog

Brands often have content across social channels on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and across many blogs without having a centralized place to bring all of it in to make the most out of it. RebelMouse has social ingestion feeds — as well as RSS and API-driven methods — to retrieve all your content and move it into the right workflows to help create reach and a deep and loyal experience that guides your customers through the right journey.

Elegant Management of PR and News

Ingest wires from the feed and publish them automatically to the site. As news is picked up, easily organize into a beautiful "In the News" module. This provides a clean workflow for the PR team to work with the Site/Marketing team efficiently.

  • Built-in Social CRM That Ties Content Tags to Social Sharing Partners, Influencers, and Outlets
  • Facebook Instant Articles/Canvas Support

  • 2–3x Industry Average Page Speeds

Match Content With Conversion

Our taxonomy systems make it simple to match the most important conversions to purchase, demo requests, click-throughs, and loyalty items in a systematic way. RebelMouse product feed ingestion and taxonomy tools make matching the right content to the right conversion action powerful.

Customer Journey

Map content to a customer's journey and deliver personalized messages on site and through email that follows the customer journey map for your enterprise. We can begin to build profiles based on content read, through email capture, comments, and submissions. Sync with your Marketo/marketing automation platform (MAP) and/or Salesforce/customer relationship management (CRM) platform, as well as newsletter providers. Then, build rich profiles through users' content consumption and interaction patterns.

Build Influencer Communities

We can begin to build profiles based on content read, through email capture, comments, and submissions. Granular roles and easy management of (massively) multiple communities makes the rollout of influencer and fan content on specific topics an opportunity for brands to roll out.

Customer Contests and Submissions

Brands are in a wonderful position to give rewards to their customers for being creators who tell their brand story. RebelMouse makes executing contests at scale easy to capture content for your library to reuse for content marketing.

Custom Announcement Splash Pages

Brands need a platform that makes announcing big moments in their company's history in a splashy way easy and dynamic. Our platform is built as a creative platform, and canvas pages can be built on the fly for special purposes. Our creative agency is excellent at turning around ideas and key moments into high-performance experiences that work across all devices and social platforms.

Enterprise Support of Regions and Languages

RebelMouse enables enterprise workflows for content to get localized between global offices or partners in an efficient and safe way that keeps design and experience unified while giving creative freedom to support vibrant local and regional-based micro hubs. Our translation workflow includes machine-learning support to make humans more efficient, and our assignment workflow helps make a global launch of a campaign efficient and effective.

A Smart, User-Facing Taxonomy

Brands often use their own internal language to talk to consumers. RebelMouse has built some of the biggest media properties in the world and understands how to untangle internal taxonomies to ensure the user-facing site structure makes sense to your customers.

Multivariate Native Performance Testing

Most multivariate and experiment software on the web use JavaScript to rewrite pages after load. This creates clumsy experiences for users that cloud your data. RebelMouse has a native handling of multivariate testing that flows into custom dimensions data, meaning every layout or product tweak can be tested for performance against key KPIs like conversion, pages per site, time on site, etc.

Custom, Enterprise Google Data Studios

Out of the box, RebelMouse populates a tremendous amount of data layers through custom dimensions and events in analytics programs. We take all this data and customize a 5–10 page Google Data Studio dashboard that provides key insights your team can wake up to and look at every day, that your management teams can review weekly and monthly, and that can be used to report to a board of directors. The custom reporting we provide also includes data from API integrations, so you are able to see the whole picture of your brand's pulse in the digital ecosystem. Our custom Data Studios let you splice to performance across key layouts and pieces of content, and analyze reach and conversion as well.

Why Premium Creative Agencies and CTOs Choose to Develop on RebelMouse vs. WordPress and Drupal

The Intersection of Design and Development: Where Your Clients Thrive

We started RebelMouse seven years ago knowing that there was a fundamental design flaw in the world of traditional CMSs: Every instance, on every platform, had to be updated independently. It's similar to an era when users had to manage their own Microsoft Exchange Server for email. The costs of managing, maintaining, and iterating on a CMS to keep it awesome and world class is typically a $10 million-a-year endeavor. But even then, these cost-prohibitive CMSs are still behind the times.

Native Multivariate Testing at Scale With RebelMouse

What Differentiates Our Approach

There are many popular tools that allow you to perform experiments and A/B tests on your users — primarily Google Chrome Experiments and Optimizely. But all of these solutions are JavaScript additions to your web page that sidestep the problem of old, outdated, and clumsy CMSs. These solutions work by calling on a third-party JavaScript library that rewrites a page after it's rendered. This approach adds extra page weight and creates strange user experiences due to having to wait for everything to load and be rewritten on the fly.

At RebelMouse, we've solved this in a very elegant way. At the core level of our platform, we can natively render different layouts and track the exact differences in performance when comparing a test to your other layouts.

How to Monetize Your Website in Today’s Publishing Environment

In order to define distributive publishing, we have to ask the following question: If you have quality content, but nobody sees it, does it even exist? The answer is no, because your content needs to be supported in a way that lets it move seamlessly across all channels, especially site, search, and social. But let's take this question a step further: If you can't monetize your content to generate the support it needs, how do you create quality content in the first place?

RebelMouse Clients See Performance Improvement After AMP Optimization

Performance is a major pillar of our platform, which means we are always making changes — both big and small — to improve page speed. Our focus on fast websites isn't platform specific, either. We want to make sure that users have a top-notch experience however they view your content, and this includes our integration with Google's AMP format.

Our team of traffic-obsessed developers recently implemented some performance optimizations to enhance our platform's integration with AMP, and that has improved the average response time for our clients. This means that users are able to access your AMP pages more quickly, which, in turn, improves your site's traffic from Google.

Here's a breakdown of the changes we've made:

Keep Search a Priority With SEO-Friendly Image Filenames

There are a lot of factors that go into a successful search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, including performance, structured data, and, of course, choosing the right keyword(s). Our proprietary search technology helps content creators prep every article for success on search. This all-encompassing approach includes the use of SEO-friendly image filenames.

On RebelMouse, if you assign an alt tag to an image in Entry Editor, that alt tag will also become the image's file name. Briefly, alt tags describe images for search engines, and also allow people using screen readers to know what the image is without actually being able to see it. Adding your desired search phase to every alt text field, and in turn every image file name, will reinforce its relevance to Google's crawler, bringing you one step closer to the top of search returns.

How to Set up Google's Publisher Center

In late 2019, Google merged Google News Producer and Google News Publisher Center into a single tool. Officially called Publisher Center, Google has created an enhanced user experience and expanded set of functionalities that easily allow any publisher to manage content across multiple properties on Google News.

One of the many great new features Publisher Center offers is the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously under one organization, as well as the ability to switch between more than one organization.

This makes managing many sites across multiple organizations a snap.

Fuel a Data-Driven Content Strategy With Google Search Console Insights

At RebelMouse, we believe a data-driven content strategy is the key to success. Luckily, the era of "post and pray" is far behind us. Creators no longer need to create articles blindly and hope that they are successful. There are now tools that can help creators understand the kind of content that resonates with their desired audiences.

That's why we are excited to let you know about Google Search Console's Insights feature. According to Google, this new data view will help content creators and site owners answer the following questions:

  • What are your best performing pieces of content?
  • How are your new pieces of content performing?
  • How do people discover your content across the web?
  • What do people search for on Google Search before they visit your content?
  • Which article refers users to your website and content?
