PowerToFly connects powerful women in tech with the jobs they deserve. The new media company launched in 2014 as a recruiting platform to source female engineers and place them in careers that promote a work-life balance, usually on a fully remote team. PowerToFly was co-founded by Milena Berry, the former CTO of Avaaz.org and an amazing woman in tech herself that is married to RebelMouse founder and CEO Andrea Breanna.
OkayAfrica
OkayAfrica features the latest in African music, fashion, and culture. The site's robust and varied content caters to different regions of each African country. The new media company started in 2011 as a sister site to QuestLove's Okayplayer, and the site is now one of the most popular progressive sites for Africans and the diaspora.
