Shared elements — Top Bar, Side Bar, and Footer — appear across all pages of your site. You can easily tweak, add to, or even remove a shared element by clicking on it in the left-hand navigation menu.

Top Bar

The Top Bar serves as your fixed compass — a way for visitors to navigate their way around your site and be introduced to your brand. Therefore it's best to keep it simple. A prominent logo, clean section links, share buttons, and a search bar are typically all you need at the top.

Side Bar

The Side Bar is great for calls to action (CTAs) and circulating additional site content.

Note: The default Side Bar layout features a social CTA placeholder. CTAs help attract a visitor's eyes and drive additional engagement on your page.

Footer

The Footer is great place for your contact information, social icons, and links to important information. You can also choose to upload a universal logo or customize it by device, and display it along with alternative text to improve accessibility and SEO.
