How the Network Functions
RebelMouse has built an entire platform for communities to form, grow, and flourish. Within the platform, communities can be created, governed, and led by publishers. It's a formula designed around sustainable and personalized engagement. We've also ensured that it's easy to use and poses no risks for any and all publishers.
Here are some of the core features of Creators Network:
Customized Roles: Established content creators can invite the best people they know to help grow their network. Members can have customized community titles as well, such as Community President or Community Editor in Chief. Detailed Approval Workflows: A post submitted by a community member never goes live without the review and approval of an administrator, president, or other person in charge. Writers with zero publishing rights can submit drafts for approval rounds, and drafts can also be saved at every stage of the editorial process. Read more about our new workflow tools here.
Dynamic Collaboration: Creators can add annotations to drafts at any time during the editorial process. Within the platform, there's a companion notifications-and-comments feed for writers and editors to review annotations, as well as a timeline that tracks edits.
Methodical Transparency: Publishers can review a number of statistics about how each individual community is performing, including how many creators there are, how many community requests there've been, and how many posts have been published. There's also the ability to review which community members haven't been active recently. If a community member shows up as inactive, publishers can quickly and easily reach out directly to re-engage them.
Statistics: The post dashboard is home to in-depth stats at a community level, including the number of pageviews for each post and overall. Posts can be further filtered by date published, author, and keyword. The metrics available to each user are dependent on the member's role within the community.
