For SEO purposes, sometimes it's wise to remove tag pages from Google search as part of a thought-out strategy.
We want to provide steps that you can follow to effectively let search engines know that tag pages should not be indexed.Just FYI, pages that are already indexed will start dropping from the index as soon as Google crawls this new setup
- Go to the Layout and Design Tool
- Go to 'Tag Page'
- Add a 'Header Code' element
- Paste the following code:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex">
- Save changes in top right corner.
