Introduction

We have been working in partnership with equalpride to improve their traffic and visibility with SEO work and improvements since 2025. This includes three of their websites: pride.com, out.com, and advocate.com. Our teams have worked closely together on a weekly basis to flag and address issues.
Now that a significant amount of time has passed since these initiatives began a year ago, it’s a good time to check in on the results: indeed, there have been traffic and visibility improvements. This is despite the headwinds of AI Overviews and changing algorithms, as well as shifts in user behavior as AI search becomes more popular.
What We Did Together As Partners

Commitment to Quality Content
Top traffic performers include Pride’s coverage of Heated Rivalry, rankings of lesbian movie scenes and gay movies scenes, Out’s coverage of Off Campus, and Advocate’s current events coverage. The Equalpride network has everything the LGBTQ+ community may be looking for in terms of content. Google has recognized them as leaders in the space and rank them accordingly. Their network of sites also produce a regular amount of fresh content at a healthy cadence, keeping the sites lively and new, while evergreen hits also continue to generate traffic and visibility for the brands.
Technical SEO Audits
We augmented the great work they’re doing with regular technical SEO audits. From broken links to duplicate content and missing descriptions, we have been cleaning up their site both with manual updates and scripts to take care of larger issues.
