How to Find Your Site's RSS Feeds

All RebelMouse sites have automatically generated RSS Feeds of their home page, sections, and subsections. Here's how to find an RSS Feed list for your site:

How Feeds Are Structured

/feeds/feed.rss = full feed
/feeds/section.rss = section-based feed
/feeds/section/subsection.rss = subsection-based feed

For example:

http://preview.yourdomain.com/feeds/feed.rss

To find feeds for sections or media types, use the following structure:

http://preview.yourdomain.com/feeds/video.rss (The section here is "video.")
http://preview.yourdomain.com/feeds/travel.rss (The section here is "travel.")
http://btsdaily.rebelmouse.com/feeds/world-tour/japan1.rss (The section here is "world-tour," and the subsection is "japan1.")

Pagination

We paginate our RSS Feeds to only show 30 posts per page by default. Users can paginate through all of the results by using an "?page=*" parameter appended to the URL. Here's an example:

https://www.mother.ly/feeds/parenting.rss?page=2

Author Feeds:

There are also RSS Feeds for your site's writers and contributors that are automatically generated.

Click here for an example of an author feed. And click here for the aforementioned example's RSS Feed link.

Use the following URL structure to find a specific author:

http://preview.yourdomain.com/feeds/community/writer.rss ("Writer" is the author's name in this example.)

SmartNews Feeds:

If your site is accepted to use news aggregator SmartNews, you will need to send SmartNews a customized RSS Feed for approval. Click here for more information about SmartNews's RSS Feed requirements.

RebelMouse supports full feeds, as well as section-based feeds, for SmartNews:

/feeds_smartnews/feed.rss = full feed
/feeds_smartnews/section-name.rss = section-based feed

If you have any questions about RSS Feed structures, contact support@rebelmouse.com or your account manager today.

Why women, minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community will restructure workplace norms

Entering a new decade means a new opportunity to change how we approach diversity. In a joint interview alongside Leanne Pittsford of Lesbians Who Tech, RebelMouse founder and CEO Andrea Breanna said that the only way to fight patriarchal dominance is to encourage and nurture more women, minorities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community in the workplace, particularly in tech.

Over half of RebelMouse's employees are women or identify as LGBTQ. Read our full diversity and inclusion report here.
