Here's how to make sure your site is optimized to thrive on the open web.

Structured Data — Don’t cross the Google limit for structured data:

Make sure to use Particle Assembler whenever you can, particularly for long-form articles. Make sure to create a headline for every particle in Assembler:

Make sure each particle also has its own particle slug that’s optimal length:

Be sure to use Google’s structured data @ListItem attribute for each particle:

If you're going to use a YouTube or Facebook video in an article, insert them via links instead of using embed codes in the Add Media Bar:

Also, be sure to add structured data to videos.

Override the structured data of an article or blog if it’s not a news site:

If you have a COVID-19-related section, you can add custom structured data to boost its search viability. Reach out to your account manager for more information.

AMP Errors — Make sure your AMP articles are running correctly using Google Chrome’s AMP Validator extension:

You can always check your AMP status in Google Search Console, too.

Social — Renew your site’s Facebook token and check to see if it's having any issues with Facebook Instant Articles:
