Tagging + Meta Tagging: Build for Social and Search Distribution

The RebelMouse platform leverages tags to make content more discoverable among your teams and cross-channel audiences.

Post Tagging
Tags are keywords or search phrases that you can add in the entry editor to associate with each post. These tags should be phrases that truly represent the post and can always be edited before and after publishing:

Each tag automatically either generates a page associated with the new tags or automatically adds the post to the existing tag page:

Social Discovery Tagging
The platform automatically surfaces post tags within Discovery interface, where tags are used to find social accounts that are likely to be interested in and share your content. In Discovery, you can also add tags without worrying about it impacting how the story is tagged on the site. Play around with the tags to surface accounts that may become valuable content sharing partners on social channels:

Asset Tagging
Metadata, including keyword tags, is stored for every image in the digital asset manager to make your work much more efficient. You can add and update keyword tags at any time organize images and surface content:

You can also search for images in your DAM using the keyword tags you set:

SEO Meta Tagging
RebelMouse enables SEO tag optimization (i.e. title, keywords and description tags):

Automatic Tagging
When media is added to a post via the Content Scraper tool, the 3rd party media's meta tags are scraped, then presented to the Editor as optional tags for that individual post:
