Sophomore running back Chris Temple had a huge weekend with a career-high 234 rushing yards and school record six touchdowns in IUP's 42-21 win over Edinboro. His 146.7 yards per game leads the PSAC and is seventh in the NCAA.
The IUP men's and women's cross country teams are back on the course today, heading to the eastern part of the state to compete in Lehigh's Paul Short Run. The men will run in the Gold race at 11 AM while the women will compete in the Brown race at 1 PM.
Junior midfielder Amber Bailey was named an IUP Athlete of the Week after scoring both goals in the Crimson Hawks' 2-1 overtime win at Seton Hill last week. She now is tied for the team lead with three goals and six points this year.

Coming off of their 4-0 record at last weekend's PSAC crossover, the IUP women's volleyball team (11-2, 4-0) opens divisional play this weekend. First is a trip to Slippery Rock tonight at 7 PM.
Homecoming Weekend at IUP starts today as the IUP women's soccer team hosts Kutztown. Kickoff is at 3 PM on South Campus. The Crimson Hawks are 5-3-1 overall and 4-2-1 in PSAC play and are riding a 3-game win streak.
