No. 2 Oregon 45, No. 16 Washington 24 (recap): The Huskies might have Marcus Mariota nightmares. The Ducks QB answered every Huskies' rally Saturday and helped Oregon remain unbeaten even though one official had a memory lapse.

No. 3 Clemson 24, Boston College 14 (recap): It wasn't easy, but the Tigers managed to escape Boston College with a win, making next Saturday's showdown with FSU as big a game as there's been this season.

Utah 27, No. 5 Stanford 21 (recap): A fourth-down play inside the Utes' 10 misfires and Utah pulls off the day's biggest upset, knocking off the fifth-ranked Cardinal.

No. 25 Missouri 41, No. 7 Georgia 26 (recap): The Tigers dominated the first half, thanks to two big plays that gave them a 28-10 halftime lead. But Georgia fought its way back in the second half, trimming the 18-point lead to just two. Things looked grim for Missouri when quarterback James Franklin left the game with a shoulder injury, but Gary Pinkel dialed up some trickeration that led to a 40-yard touchdown pass. Missouri won 41-26, the Tigers' first road victory over a top-10 team since 1981.

No. 9 Texas A&M 41, Mississippi 38 (recap): Johnny Manziel didn't stay out long after an early knee injury, and then he led the Aggies on a game-winning drive that ended with a 33-yard field goal on the game's final play.

No. 10 LSU 17, No. 17 Florida 6 (recap): The Gators struggled on offense and LSU figured out the stellar UF defense just enough and picked up the key SEC victory.

No. 11 UCLA 37, California 10 (recap): The Bruins took care of business and now they get back-to-back road games at Stanford and Oregon. Brett Hundley threw for more than 400 yards and three touchdowns.

Texas 36, No. 12 Oklahoma 20 (recap): Case McCoy shook off a big hit, and delivered big plays in the first half. Daje Johnson scored on an 85-punt return for a touchdown in the second half and Texas rolled in the Red River Rivalry. Oklahoma's offense was anemic, with just 263 yards of total offense. Any talk of firing Mack Brown should dissipate following the victory.

No. 14 South Carolina 52, Arkansas 7 (recap): Jadeveon Clowney recorded just one tackle, but the Gamecocks steamrolled the Razorbacks, 52-7. Connor Shaw threw for three touchdowns and ran for one more, and Mike Davis ran for 128 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

No. 15 Baylor 35, Kansas State 25 (recap): Baylor entered the game on record pace toward of number of statistical categories, SN's Bill Bender writes. K-State managed to slow down the Bears some Saturday, but not enough to pull off the upset.

Penn State 43, No. 18 Michigan 40 OT (recap): What a finish. Penn State put together an amazing final-minute drive in regulation to tie the game and survived a last-second field goal attempt. Then, in the fourth overtime, the Nittany Lions win it.

Wisconsin 35, No. 19 Northwestern 6 (recap): Last week the Wildcats just missed upsetting Ohio State, but they didn't have nearly enough in the tank to compete with the Badgers on Saturday.

No. 20 Texas Tech 42, Iowa State 35 (recap): Freshman quarterback Davis Webb threw for 415 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start as the Red Raiders hung on to defeat the Cyclones, 42-35.

No. 23 Northern Illinois 27, Akron 20 (recap): Terry Bowden's Zips fall to 1-6, but they pushed NIU on Saturday.

No. 24 Virginia Tech 19, Pittsburgh 9 (recap): Virginia Tech scored just one touchdown, but that's all they needed to move their winning streak to six games. Pitt struggled all day against the Hokies defense, mustering just 210 yards of total offense.
