At RebelMouse, we believe that every content team has unique needs. This is why our Entry Editor is easily customizable so that editorial teams can sculpt tools that function seamlessly for their specific workflow.
Within Entry Editor is our Particle Assembler, which breaks down articles into micro pieces of content, what we call particles, that are dynamic and can be shared on their own or across social platforms. Since particles are designed to be repurposed, you can add a search function to your custom Entry Editor that will allow you to search for previously published particles and articles.
To use the search bar, you need to add the following line of code to an Entry Editor layout in Layout & Design Tool:
<ee_sidebar_search limit="11" is_body_allowed="true"/>
The search bar allows you to not only search for different articles, but also different Assembler particles to drag and drop into a new article. These particles can come from any post published on your site. This feature will only pull the first particle from the original article, and not the entire content of the Assembler.
For example, if you want to create a section on your website that's dedicated to slideshows, you can create a new post and easily add all of your articles with slideshows as the first particle.
