The head of “Angel Fish,” a sculpture created of tiles and other materials by artist Betty Schroll. It was on display Tuesday (July 14) in the courtyard of the huge First and Franklin Presbyterian Church at West Madison Street and Park Avenue in Baltimore MD. The almost-hidden courtyard was itself interesting to explore, with a garden, other art pieces, and entrances to the church’s social and community assistance offices.

She was curious, but she was not in danger. This young girl wandered across East High Street on Saturday (July 4, 2015) in anticipation of Pottstown’s Independence Day Parade. She seemed attracted by the flashing lights of slow-moving police cars, about a block away. Her mother quickly spotted her, picked her up, and carried her to the curb.#pottstown #pennsylvania #fourthofjuly #independenceday #parade
